Hello! I'm Clay Kessler, a director of photography in Columbus, Ohio. I'm a recent graduate from The Ohio State University with a Moving Image Production and Marketing degree.
My love for film began in high school when I learned how lighting, composition, blocking, color, and camera movement were used to tell stories. From that moment, I was captivated. I love how stories can unfold visually and how cinematography has the power to shape the subconscious mind.
Over the years, I've delved into numerous projects for my classes at OSU, personal passion projects, and contracted work for clients. My goal as a cinematographer is to convey stories in a beautiful and effective way.
